Position Overview: The Low Voltage Lighting Technician is responsible for installing, turning on, turning off and servicing landscape lighting systems and irrigation stystems on residential and commercial properties.

Requirements: The Irrigation and Low Voltage Lighting Technician should meet the following requirements:

  • Ability to work 8 hour - 12 hour shifts; 5 consecutive days per week, 36 consecutive weeks a year
  • Ability to work in climates ranging from 25 degrees Fahrenheit -100 Fahrenheit
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time (85% of time)
  • Constant climbing stairs, reaching, twisting, sitting, walking, and/or running (85% of time)
  • Ability to operate manual labor hand tools, including but not limited to, shovels, rakes, axe, cutters, crimpers, wire strippers, wire tracker
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle up to 70 MPH
  • Ability to drive truck with open/enclosed trailer (8 foot – 15 foot long)
